Questions

How do I open a .numbers file in Excel?+

Excel can't read Apple's .numbers format. Upload the file here and download an .xlsx with the table data — plus a PDF showing the exact original spreadsheet — no Mac or iCloud needed.

Are formulas preserved?+

Values are preserved; formulas are not (the .numbers format stores them in a proprietary structure). You get every cell's computed value, ready to work with in Excel.

Why does my file fail to convert?+

Very old iWork '08/'09 files, and spreadsheets saved without an embedded preview, can't be read. On a Mac use File → Advanced → Include Preview in Document, save, and retry.

Is it really free?+

One conversion a day is free with no account; registering (free) raises that to three. Pro removes limits and adds batch upload. No watermarks ever.

Is my spreadsheet private?+

Files are converted in memory and deleted immediately afterwards. We never store, read, or share your data.
